60th Anniversary Luncheon - Taos
Please join the New Mexico Independent Automobile Dealers Association on Wednesday, May 18th for a 60th Anniversary Celebration lunch from noon – 2:00 pm at The Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club, 1016 Dea Ln, Taos, NM 87571. Founded in 1962, NMIADA is a 501(c)6 business association that represents the interests of the automotive industry in New Mexico, including independent automobile dealers, independent garages, paint & body businesses, tow companies, service stations, and more.
During our meeting, we will discuss major policy issues facing the industry and consumers in New Mexico. Topics will include the Curbstoning crisis, inspection requirements for used vehicles sold at retail, impact of the new state clean vehicle proposals, the impact of electric vehicles on state revenues and roads, and the impact of unregistered and uninsured vehicles on public safety in New Mexico.
NMIADA will also present an update on its legislative proposals for the 2023 legislative session, and share the growth in services and support to the industry that have been implemented over the course of the last few years. The Association has dramatically expanded as part of the Board’s rolling two-year strategic planning and execution, and your regional Director, Daniel Cordova, has been working hard to expand services and support to the industry in the Taos region.
We look forward to meeting members, friends, elected officials, and associates to kick off NMIADA’s 60th Anniversary Regional meeting and celebration.
